The New Wellcraft 355 – A Marvel of Marine Engineering

In a bold and highly welcomed move, Wellcraft has introduced Wellcraft 355.

The new 2023 Wellcraft 355 takes the company in a new and exciting direction. This boat has the much-desired offset cabin and sexy Euro look. It can be used as a day boat or an overnight cruiser that sleeps two adults in air-conditioned comfort. The 355 is powered by powerful triple Yamaha (350 HP) or Mercury outboards. The 355 is perfect for short day/weekend outings to Elliott Key or the Bahamas. The cockpit features two boarding doors, one to port and one to starboard, the bow has a well thought out lounging/sitting area with pop-up lights and a removable table. There is also a removable mesh sunshade for the bow and aft seating areas.

The electric windlass can be operated from the bow using the remote control, or from the helm. The roof has roof racks for stowing paddle boards or kayaks. This keeps the toys secure and out of the way until needed; a nice “Adventure Boat” touch that is certainly appreciated if you have ever needed to secure these water toys to the railing or bow of other boats.

There is a wide door to starboard next to the helm that allows the captain quick access to the side deck should his/her help be needed while docking or handling lines while passing through a lock.

The well laid out helm area features three comfortable seats for the helmsperson, navigator, and a third person. There is plenty of storage in/around the helm and salon.

The bright and airy stateroom is located forward, the private head is to starboard as you enter the cabin. The bed can easily accommodate two adults. There is an escape hatch above the bed, just remember to remove the bow cushions at night to allow the hatch to open.
